Who Created Whom?

Timmy the Tinker has created a computer named Nimrod. But their relationship is becoming rather complicated.

Timmy questions whether programming someone to be happy actually makes them happy. Nimrod disagrees. According to the computer, if you program someone to be something, then that is what they are.

But Nimrod has an even bigger claim. It says that it created the universe, including Timmy himself, so that Timmy could create it.

Somewhere along the way, they've lost track of who created whom.
